Jelly Cookies #2

Ingredients:

¾ cup lard
⅔ cup sugar
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp almond extract
2 cups flour
½ tsp baking powder
Jelly

Combine all ingredients except jelly. Beat with an
electric mixer on medium speed until well blended.
Drop by teaspoon onto ungreased cookie sheet.
Make slight indentation in center of each cookie
and fill with jelly. Bake 15 minutes at 350°F. Yield: 3
dozen.

Kelly O'Brien Cookies

Ingredients:

2 cups butter
4 Tbsp brown sugar
4 Tbsp granulated sugar
2 tsp vanilla
4 cups flour
2 cups chopped walnuts

Preparation:
Blend together with hands. Roll into small balls and
bake at 375°F for 10-12 minutes. Cool slightly and
cover twice with powder sugar.
