The Director of Curriculum and Data

                  1. Working with Dr. Bournes and Loyola University, we are providing opportunities for staff
to increase their instructional capacity in mathematics through coaching, mentorship, and
                      dual credit.

                  2. Working with The College Board, we are providing our Pre-AP teachers mandatory
professional development for the year 2 Pre-AP courses and any year 1 Pre-AP teachers
who did not complete the professional development.

                  3. Working with the Return to Instruction Team, we are finalizing three iterations of what
instruction, operations, and transportation will look like this fall. My office is providing
support to the teachers in the areas of providing digital textbook licenses and training,
professional development for teaching in a hybrid/remote learning environment, and using
software to engage students and authentically assess students to determine academic
                      progress.

                  4. Next year, the District will implement and expand the following programs: Project Lead the
Way (PLTW) and Uncharted Learning (INCubatoredu). This requires specialized training
for our staff as they learn the expectations and requirements for teaching the program. My
office will ensure they are registered and provide any additional supports to complete
                      professional development.

                  5. With the roll-out of our 1:1 Chromebook take home initiative for the 2020-21 school year,
we are finalizing our digital license needs in order to make purchases for the 2020-21 school
year. Once the licenses are acquired, teachers will receive professional development on the
                      dashboards and resources.

                  6. Working with Prairie State Community College, we have identified fifty-two students
interested in the Early College Program. We have developed an aggressive timeline to
ensure the students complete the course placement assessments, identify courses, and attend
the mandatory parent orientation. In addition, we will continue to identify a cohort of CNA
                      students for the fall.

                  7. As we expand our partnership with PSC, we are collaborating on a grant which would allow
students the opportunity to obtain their Dental Assisting License. The program would allow
students the opportunity to earn forty-one college credit hours, and when they pass the
license exam, they will secure a seat in Prairie State College’s Dental Hygienist Program.
