FAC Campus Updates
• Working with Pepper Construction regarding closeout of summer projects punch list items
• Kick plates have been installed in gym area
• Investigating major issue with 5ton a/c unit for culinary area with Pepper construction
• Room C103 leak scheduled to be repair of HVAC piping in room on Friday October 30,2020
• Scheduled US Fire to complete Sprinkler system deficiency list on November 11, 2020
• Coordinating locker painting over Christmas break
• Ground fault issue with Fire panel has been identified and correct by JCI through Pepper Construction
Stem Campus Updates
• Baseball fields – waiting on final quotes for fencing repairs and installation
• Reviewing keying plan and reaching out keying vendors for solutions – on going
• Looking into Chiller operation issues coordinating quotes for repairs and/or maintenance over winter
• Met with Pepper construction and STR regarding HVAC walk through
Transition House
• Met with Owner and Ted regarding final review of drawings. Owners architect to submit to Olympia
fields village for approval
• Performed walk through at East campus with Erin w/Frank Cooney to identify cabinetry and furniture
to repurpose at the transition house. Waiting on spec drawings to submit to contractor for review
• Working with Ted Koutavas regarding RFQ for security, phones, card access and cameras
General Updates
• Getting acclimated with facilities and staff. Arranging meet and greets with new supervisors and
department employees. – on going
• New public address system training took place on Wednesday October 21, 2020
• Staff meeting took place on Wednesday October 14, 2020
• Working on completing transition of Rich East closing
• Grounds and supervisors meeting took place on Thursday October 29, 2020
Information Technology
The Information Technology Department has implemented a Technology support help desk plan that
provides students and parents access to a dedicated support staff member. Parents or students that are
experiencing issues with devices or any other technology-related issues, can either call the support number
or email us and we will respond and resolve the issue within 24 hours. Also, parents or students can
schedule an in-person appointment to have their issues resolved.
