Voluntary Placements
The following students are scheduled to return to campus for the second semester from voluntary
placements at RISE.
They have maintained their attendance over 75% and have met academic requirements.
12 Grade Female Student who sent threatening text messages.

12 Grade Female Student with persistent attendance issues.

12 Grade Male Student who was in possession of cannabis and other paraphernalia.
The pandemic impeded the campus’ ability to complete the community service requirement, but
students will complete that during second semester.
Two 10 grade female students are scheduled to return February 2021.

One-12th grade male student has not met the academic or attendance expectations and will remain at
RISE for second semester pending parent agreement to extend the voluntary placement.

Information Technology
The Information Technology Department continues to supports parents and students daily who are
experiencing Technology issues with devices or any other technology-related matters.
The Scholarchip training sessions for staff have been completed. Staff has been trained in all aspects
of the Scholarchip system, including attendance, KIOSK units, and the tablets that our hall monitors
will use.
Our wireless vendor has completed a campus by campus wireless site survey to determine any
deficiencies in coverage. We have identified a few non-instructional areas that can benefit by adding
some additional access points. Our cabling vendor will perform this work in the coming week.
The request for proposal was issued to various contractors for work at the transition center. Vendors
have submitted their bid, and a recommendation to perform the work will be sent to the board for
approval this month.
