Special Education
1. In collaboration with the realtor, viewed 6 properties in the neighboring areas with the Transition
Team. We also identified other properties within the district’s boundaries at the following
2. Organized ESY 2020 with campus teams.
3. In collaboration with the Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources, conducted
interviewing/hiring procedures for the following positions:
Coordinator of Student Support Services MTSS Specialist
IEP managers for each campus School Psychologist
4. Continued the conversation and progression with Advocate Aurora Health Partners regarding the
School based health Center. Anticipate continuing development January 2021 due to Covid-19.
5. Continued conversations with mental health partners Trinity Services and Hartgrove Behavioral
Health Center regarding supporting students in the 2020-2021 SY with mental health supports.
6. In collaboration with the Director of IT, collaborated with LaserFiche, attorneys, and Easy IEP to
develop the contract for digital records project.
7. In collaboration with external partners and the nursing team, began developing our safety
procedures for resuming in person instruction.
English Learners (Emergent Bilingual)
In collaboration with the EL team across the district, continuing to identify for our English Learners
across the district. We have been focused on development of the Transitional Bilingual Education

program for next year. 9 and 10 grade will be direct instruction and 11 and 12 grade will be a co-

taught model. Identified professional development opportunities that would be beneficial.
Climate & Culture/MTSS
Worked in collaboration with climate and culture to develop a climate and culture manual. Working
with the special populations committee to refine the MTSS manual. Team attended a PD on trauma
informed practices.
Counselors
1. Worked with the Counselors on the executive Order exemptions for seniors. We were able to
identify students that were eligible for graduations due to the exemptions that were granted from the
executive order from the Governor. We focused on “do not educational harm”.
2. I also worked with the counselors to identify the students and the pathways that student’s chose for
next school year.
