                                   1.  Review the failure rates in your academy by course and select a course that has a
                                   high failure rate.
                                   What has classroom observations looked like for this course? What has instruction
                                   looked like?
                                   2.  Now select a teacher in that course with a high failure rate and review their
                                   lesson plans or grade book.  What type of coaching or feedback has been given?
                                   Is there evidence of differentiation in lesson plans?
                                   3.  Now select a student in the same teacher’s course who is failing.  What does
                                   the student's academic progress look like? Is there evidence of teacher
                                   intervention?

                                   will have a meeting with the Student Support Staff to discuss current resources and
                                   gaps for students impacted by trauma
