Instructional Audit
The Instructional Leadership Team conducted instructional audits on March 24, 2021 and March 30, 2021 at
both the FAC and STEM campuses. The following classes were audited:
• Art II
• Freshman Advisory
• INCubatoredu
• MYP Biology
• Naval Science I
• Pre- AP Geometry
• Pre-AP Algebra I
• Pre-AP Biology
• Pre-AP Chemistry CT
• Pre-AP English 10
• World History and Geography +Reading
The Instructional Leadership Team consists of the Principal, the Assistant Superintendent of Educational
Services, the Directors of Curriculum and Data, Fine Arts and IB, and Student Support Services, the Associate
Principals of Educational Services, and the Freshmen-Sophomore Academy Leaders. A school board member
also participated.
A full report will be shared with the school board.
Late Start Wednesdays
It is being recommendation to change Late Start Wednesdays to Late Start Mondays for the 2021-2022 school
year. Typically, the district has 28 Late Start Wednesdays each year. Designating Mondays as late starts will
decrease that number to 24.
As a result of the move, our students will gain 8 hours of instructional time.
Parent Engagement
The district engaged parents in the following parent workshops during the month of March:
International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme Informational Meeting – 5 parents
Parent Tech Café- 7 parents
