Pt. Everglades truck drivers, shop mechanics
and terminal operators were honored on
July 21 at the Tropical Acres Restaurant in Ft.
Lauderdale, Flo. for drMng 2 million consecutive
miles without a preventable motor vehicle
accident. This record achievement consisted of
safely driving for 768 days, maklng 34,126
deliveries of more than 305 million gallons of
Chevron product. The Port Everglades team
expects to reac`h the 3 million mile mark
