The Dental Entrepreneur

Register your name as a domain in a half a dozen variations. Tom Larkin, Thomas Larkin,
Thomas J Larkin, Dr Tom Larkin, Thomas Larkin DDS, you get the point. Then create word
press templates around theses sites. Build some sites on any dental related subject. Make
sure that each site has different content and is very positive toward you.
Create the same number of videos around the same names and optimize them accordingly.

Do a couple of press releases with your name in the title. That should yield enough content to
cover the first page returns on Google that relate to your name and push all the spammy
     review sites to page two.

     Online Press Releases

Online press releases are super SEO friendly. Often times you can get a top ten return in a
day or so. The only down side to them is that they are not permanent in nature and gradually
fall away. If you make it a regular part of your strategy though and focus on the top keywords
in your market they do two things. They are authoritative in appearance (make you look like
the local expert) and they link to your web site with good link juice.

     Video Testimonials

I have shot and edited a couple of hundred Youtube videos and I can tell you a few things
     about that experience:
     •They are super effective

     •They are super authoritative
•They do not need to be professionally shot
     •They must be SEO optimized
Patient testimonials should be near the top of your internet projects. They become a “trusted
source” which is a significant marketing strategy. It works much better if it is in an interview

formant versus sticking a camera in someone's face. This is also a good technique to combat
rating sites. In addition to patient testimonials your goal for your practice should be a Youtube
channel of 50 videos or more on a variety of dental subjects. It should be two to three minutes
in length, focusing on one subject at a time.

     Local Citations

Local citations are the mentions of your business name and address on other web pages,
mainly local directories. It is currently a key component of ranking algorithms in Google and
Bing. Most of these listings are set up without your knowledge. The data is derived from what
are called data compilers. Make sure that you “claim” your business and that the business
information is filled out completely and accurately. The major ones are:
