Abstract The air conditioning system (AC) in the vehicle nowadays consume refrigerant which
can lead to harmful environment and also use fuel vehicle consumption will affected the vehicle
efficiency .The study of thermoelectric cooling in the vehicle is to determine whether or not
can replace air conditioning system in the vehicle. An experimental approach for the air
conditioning system for three days in three condition time, the coldest temperature and ambient
temperature among the three days is taken to make comparison for the Thermoelectric Cooling
system (TEC). Total of ten TEC module can fit through evaporator design. From the simulation
result TEC system has a huge gap of temperature between AC system the range is within 3 °C
– 19 °C while AC system range is 17.8°C – 28.7°C. As a result, thermoelectric devices are
innovative, eco-friendly alternatives to traditional power generators AC system.
