Abstract In this Final Year Project, the project name’s Analysis and Design Improvement of
Motorcycle Hydraulic Lift. Motorcycle Hydraulic Lift is widely used for lifting vehicles like a
motorcycle at the required height to do maintenance safely and efficiently. The area of
application includes vehicle loading, work positioning, etc. Motorcycle Hydraulic Lift comes
in varied forms which can be built to facilitate specialized industrial activities and tasks. The
hydraulic lift can be driven by a hydraulic cylinder, pneumatic sources, and push chains, or a
hydraulic foot pump in case of a light load. This final year project deals with the critical part
analysis: the hydraulic arm and safety lock. There will be three designs for the motorcycle
hydraulic lift. Solidwork is used for designing the motorcycle hydraulic lift. Ansys workbench
and Solidworks simulation are used for meshing and analysis work to check stress, strain,
displacement, and deformation that are induced in the system. The main aim is to determine
the best design in reducing stress, strain, displacement, and deformation by modifying the
parameters like the hydraulic arm and safety lock.

Keywords Motorcycle Hydraulic Lift, Hydraulic Lift, Hydraulic, SolidWork, Equivalent
                stress, Total deformation.
