                    The University continuously implements personnel development program and activities to sit well with the
               national drive for global competitiveness. The core faculty of the Bachelor of Science in Nursing Program of the
               College of Nursing is a pool of trained and skilled faculty dedicated to delivering excellent education to the
               students. The ISU management has continuously urged and pushed its faculty members to pursue advanced
               degrees. At present, 64% of the faculty members hold master degrees in Nursing, three members are currently
               taking their DNS/Ph.DNS. Adding to its pool of experts who not only can be expected to transfer quality skills
               and  knowledge  to  their  students  but  also  can  be  tapped  as  researchers,  trainers  and  speakers  in  various
               endeavors.
                      The university is also supportive to the professional growth of its faculty members, one faculty member
               were given university scholarship grant, and1 CHED scholar. Moreover, faculty members involved in research
               were given citations and awards for their exemplary researches. Outputs of their researches were presented in
               institutional and national fora. Additionally, to strongly uphold the program’s high standard through instruction,
               faculty members developed instructional materials which also serve as the production project of the department.
               These instructional materials have been developed by faculty members to effectively facilitate the teaching–
               learning process.
