I stepped into the hawker centre. I was drooling as lip-
smacking aromas of delicious food wafted in the air.
Long queues at the stalls and people devouring their
food were indeed a sight to behold as I looked around
for empty tables with my family.
This was one gastronomical journey I had with my
parents. I always loved to eat at hawker centres. They
are only a stone’s throw away from my home. I always
go to One Punggol Hawker Centre. Not only is the food
yummy, but they are also charged at affordable prices.
Hawker centres are dotted around Singapore, so they
are easy to find!
Though I love a wide array of dishes, my favourite has
to be char kway teow. That is my go-to order in hawker
centres.
