Figure 4.8 shows the Daikin and BMS technicians conducting
a field test of the SRD (Smart Refrigerant Detector) at one of
the client's Daikin air conditioners. The client complained that
the air conditioner has not been cold for many months. After
the technician installed the SRD, the alarm notification (Email
& WhatsApp) was sent to the technician, as the SRD detected
low refrigerant pressure.

Should the technician receive an email or WhatsApp alarm
notification within 1 week, this indicates that there is a leakage
in the air conditioner and rectification of the leakage will be
carried out. After testing the SRD, the Daikin\BMS engineer
was satisfied with the prototype's design and functionality;
they are confident that SRD can assist the serving team in
troubleshooting and monitoring any refrigerant leakage and
low-pressure condition.

The technician used the manifold to confirm that the air
conditioner was in low-pressure conditions and proceeded to 1. Install SRD on all New R32 air conditioners
