your time and effort into their whole lives, making sure they stay safe while
having fun at the same time. During this lockdown, what if your child decides
to go outside? You wouldn’t think much of it, right? You may think ‘oh she’s
just having fun, she’s young, I should let her live her life’. So, you let her go
outside. You didn’t think about how much it could affect everyone else because
“it’s only two kids”. The contagious virus often doesn’t have any symptoms,
meaning that anyone could have it without any sign. It just keeps spreading
      over and over again.

Now, what if you live with someone much older? Say, a grandparent.
Poor grandmammy would suffer from the virus severely! Elderly have a higher
mortality rate. This is all because of the youth’s rebellious attitudes. Their
desire to have fun outside is oh so much important than grandmammy’s life.

The third most frustrating thing about this pandemic is that it’s just a
continuous cycle. There are two types of people in the world. There are people,
like me, who obeyed the rules and quarantined for weeks. The first month of
the lockdown, I never went outside and I know a few other people too. Then
there are people who at first didn’t take the lockdown seriously but now they
are. The trick is, the first type of people, we got so frustrated with waiting for
other people to finally listen that we basically couldn’t take it anymore. Being
stuck inside drove us insane. So what’s the solution? After two months of quar-
antine, we go outside. The second type of people? They lived their lives to the
fullest outside they neglected to see the importance of a lockdown until it’s too
late. So what’s the solution? After two months of dilly-dallying, they finally go
into quarantine. And then, it’s just an unstable endless cycle of impatience.

Although there have been many tough times occurring, there are still
some positive outlooks. First off, we’ve decreased so much pollution! I have no
idea if it made a substantial difference, though I hope so, at least it decreased a
fair amount. Second, family time is off the charts! Many families have grown
closer throughout this time and our connections have grown deeper. Before
Corona, I didn’t really get to see or talk to my mom that often due to her work.
But now, I see this as a moment to share memories and grow together. It’s made
me so happy because I’ve always wanted a stronger connection with her but we
would both be tired coming home.
Thinking about it, we’re in the books! Students will be studying this in
history in the future while we’re living it! That’s actually crazy. We are history.
We are living it in the first person and we get to see how it actually went down.
