I wonder if we will be interviewed as a primary source in a student’s history
essay. Ha! How crazy would that be? Such a huge impact in our lives. We would
each tell our personal stories about how it affected us. We tell our stories, and
our stories live on. We would communicate and express ourselves in art, dance,
poems, songs, movements, etc. This is revolutionary.
Miscommunication is the biggest issue overall right now. Why isn’t the
government strictly telling us what to do? Why are there no laws or conse-
quences being placed? I feel like a kid impatiently waiting for other children to
obey the teachers. New York is by far the most stubborn area in obeying orders.
This pandemic taught me a lot of things but the most important is community
and bonds. We all have experienced this, we all have something in common.
But the solution to this whole thing is unity. I think we definitely take unity
and community for granted. Although people are hard-headed, we’ve certainly
gone through tougher times. We faced many big historical issues and other
diseases. Combating those things together as a whole can make a difference. If
we can just work together and listen to each other, I believe we can truly make
America great again.
