Jenny Scott is a passionate businesswoman who
grew up in an entrepreneurial family. She has
extensive experience as a business owner having
started up and successfully sold multiple businesses
over the last 2 decades. She is currently starting up
her 5th business, North Lake Lodge as well as
working alongside her husband, Steven at King
Construction Ltd. Jenny also sits on various
charitable boards and committees.
She began her career as an RMT in Halifax and
quickly moved to Saint John to start her first
business, a full service Spa. After 6 years, she sold
this business and had 2 more start-ups launched.
Subsequently, she started Element5 Spa, operated it
for 6 years and completed it’s sale in 2017. In 2015
Jenny founded North Lake Lodge as a retirement
Jenny Scott project.
ELP2 Jenny was recognized as BDC’s Young
President Entrepreneur Award for New Brunswick in 2006.
North Lake Lodge & King She won the Saint John Board of Trade’s Young
Construction Entrepreneur Award in 2008. She was also
Fredericton New Brunswick nominated for Ernst & Young entrepreneurship
award.

Jenny spends her days with a variety of roles at
Scott’s Nursery being the third generation of a
family business has it’s share of challenges.
Working at this business since her teens she has
experienced and worked at all of the various
positions at this growing greenhouse operation.
She has been involved in various programs in the
industry over the years. Certified horticultural
adviser course, attended many different workshops
and training courses. After graduating from
Fredericton High School attended Atlantic Business
College for a year.
Jenny wears many hats at her family business and
she is hoping to find a way to get above the trees to
