Mark Sambrooke is the Managing Director and
Co-Founder of Cyber Island, a cyber security
consultancy in Atlantic Canada.
Prior to Cyber Island, Mark was the Chief Product
Officer of ScreenScape in Charlottetown, a Senior
Product Manager with Salesforce.com in San
Francisco, and a software developer and product
manager with SAP AG in Palo Alto, California. A
native of Summerside, PEI, and a graduate of
Mt.Allison University in Computer Science and
Philosophy. Mark's career in technology has
spanned from Charlottetown to Silicon Valley, from
global Enterprise software giants to scrappy
startups. His current endeavour, Cyber Island, is
addressing the talent gap in the cyber security
market by sourcing and training career cyber

Marilou has a Bachelor in Civil Engineering from
the Université de Moncton. She always had interest
in the building construction aspect of the field,
therefore, was really happy to join Acadian
Construction, a General Contractor, as a project
Manager in 2005 where she is now a partner and
President. Her role is to lead Acadian’s Team
making sure the clients expectations are met while
finding ways to always improve their process. She
has obtained her Gold Seal Certification in Project
Management from the Canadian Construction
Association.
