‘Nihilism’: The Worldview That Turned The World Upside Down

‘Chapter 1’ Message: From the time of Christ, Christianity has
grown from a tiny community of disciples, to a world religion with
over two billion followers. In the early centuries, it grew at a
phenomenal rate reaching an estimated 30 million followers by
AD350. When Roman Emperor Constantine adopted Christianity
as his empire’s religion in the 4th Century it quickly developed a
strong institutional structure – one that would out-live the Empire
itself. But by the 1960s Christianity began its decline in North
America and Western Europe under secularist pressures from the
likes of nihilists, atheists and Darwinism. Secularization, the
process in which religion loses social and cultural significance, has
effectively started reversing the gains of Christianity in the US and
Western Europe. The numbers of the so-called ‘nones’, those
without any religious affiliation, have been on the rise. This is
blamed, at least in the US, on the banning of Bible reading and
prayer in public schools from 1962 and a calculated indoctrination
agenda by anti-god putschists permeating public institutions,
beginning with the centers for teaching and learning and key
