Foundations
? The Foundations Course is a small group learning class where students concentrate on
improving reading and writing skills, as well as executive functions such as memory
and time management.
? The Algebra 1 A/B course spreads Algebra skills over the full year to build a strong
basis for studying future college prep math.

Taking full advantage of the Academic Support Program will help your child succeed
in the college prep courses at Donovan Catholic. The additional charge to parents
during freshman year is $1500.
Grades 10-12
? The Academic Support counselor will continue to monitor academic progress and
consult frequently with both teachers and parents.
? Math, Science and English classes are designed to satisfy college prep requirements
while addressing the learning needs of the students in a small class environment.
? Students are re-evaluated each year to determine appropriate accommodations.
? Donovan Catholic works with the College Board to provide proper testing conditions
for the SATs & ACTs.
