Ground-level decks can have solid skirt-boards, due to extreme grade change

• Above ground patio exposed edges must be faced and/or finished with stone.
• Natural stone patios may be installed as a substitute for rear lower-decks without a DRB-
application as long as the patios conform to the Patios and Walkways Design Guidelines’
“No Application” requirements.
