Rehearsal Series: Visiting the Arts

With the renovation project rendering the Garden closed
for the duration of 2024, the Club's Summer Music
series hit the road with a series of five off-site visits to
arts institutions in downtown Toronto.
The series included excursions to Summer Music Series
staples such as the Canadian Opera Company, Royal
Conservatory of Music, Toronto Symphony Orchestra
and Toronto Summer Music Festival, as well as a trip to
the National Ballet of Canada.
Members had the opportunity to go behind-the-scenes
and view intimate rehearsal performances, which ranged
from the T.S.O. where Maestro Gustavo Gimeno would
intermittently pause to discuss changes with his
musicians to the National Ballet, where Members saw
an essentially finished product ready for opening night
