This Standard specifies requirements and sets out recommendations for the selection, safe use,
and maintenance of industrial fall -arrest systems and devices based on the use of safety
harnesses, horizontal lifelines, and rails, fall -arrest devices, and associated lanyards, connectors,
anchorages, and fittings.
