INSPECTION AND MAINTENANCE
Standard AS/ NZS 1891.4:2009 and manufacturer’s instructions require users to carry
out a full inspection of their equipment before and after e ach use.

Working at height equipment should be inspected according to Australian Standard
AS/NZS 1891.4 in following manner.
Fall arrest equipment such as harnesses, lanyards and pole straps must be
inspected by the user,
Before each use
After each use
Should have a registered or logged inspection tag every six months (Or Earlier
as per company SOP OR Manufacture Manual instruction)
