▪ Assists section librarians in handling/transfer of heavy
furniture;
▪ Monitors continued supply of water for restrooms and
lavatories;
▪ Assists in the control area when needed
▪ Get supplies and other office materials from the
Supply Office.

Reports to: University Librarian

g) Position : Student Library Assistants

The student library assistants assist the library staff
in:

▪ Structuring (pasting & labeling) of information file
materials
▪ Shelving and shelf reading of books
▪ Recording statistical data of users and book loans
▪ Housekeeping and maintenance of cleanliness relevant
to their assigned work.
