                   Section 8.  Accreditation Committee

                                 All candidates for the rank of Professor shall undergo screening
                          by  a  Regional  Accreditation  Committee  and  shall  be  confirmed  by  a
                          National Accreditation Committee.

                                 The  PASUC  Common  Criteria  for  Evaluation  (CCE)  and  the
                          pertinent  guidelines,  rules  and  procedures  relative  thereto  will  be
                          used by the University to supplement policies and guidelines on the
                          recruitment  and  appointment  of  faculty  and  academic  staff  as
                          established in this Merit System.
                   Section 9.        Criteria  for  Filling  Up  of  Faculty  Items  (Per  BOR
                                         Resolution # 29, s. 2005)

                                     a)  Temporary
                                        ▪  BS/AB  degree  holder  or  its  equivalent  in  an
                                            appropriate            area          of          specialization
                                            authorized/recognized  by  the  University.  The  BS/AB
                                            degree  must  have  been  obtained  from  an  educational
                                            institution  with  accredited  programs  on  the  area  of
                                            specialization
                                         ▪  At least two (2) years experience in teaching/research
                                            work and/or in profession related to teaching
                                         ▪  At least “Very Satisfactory” performance rating in the

                                            last two semesters (for CVSU staff) or in the preceding
                                            year  as  certified  by  the  previous  employer  (for  non-
                                            CvSU staff)

                                         ▪  Pass the battery of psychological tests administered by
                                            the University

                                         ▪  Submit  a  written  notarized  commitment  to  finish
                                            within two years after appointment. MS /MA degree in
                                            a field prescribed /authorized by the Universities.

                                         ▪  Physically  fit  to  work  as  certified  by  the  University
                                            Medical Officer
                                         ▪  Recommended by the college campus dean concerned
                                            (for CvSU staff) to the Promotion and Selection Board.
                                         ▪  Good  moral  character  as  certified  by  the  immediate
                                            supervisor of the previous employment (for non-CvSU
                                            Staff)
