When servicing a power trowel, use only identical replacement parts. Follow
instructions in the “Inspection, Maintenance, And Cleaning” section of this
manual. Use of unauthorized parts or failure to follow maintenance instructions
may result in injury or damage to the machine.
3. Specific Safety Rules and Precautions
3.1) Specific Safety Rules:
Your Warranty is voided if: You do not put engine oil in the engine’s
crankcase prior to its use. Before each use, check the oil level. Never run the
engine with low or no engine oil. Running the engine with low or no oil will
permanently damage the unit.
Maintain labels and nameplates on the power trowel. These carry important
information. If unreadable or missing, contact seller for a replacement.
Make sure the power trowel is used on a flat, level, surface to maintain
stability of the tool. Do not use the power trowel on inclines.
Never stand on the power trowel. Serious injury could result if the power trowel
is tipped.
Never leave the power trowel unattended when it is running. Always turn off
the power trowel before leaving.
Do not allow children and other unauthorized people to handle or play with the
power trowel.
Industrial applications must follow OSHA guidelines.
Prior to using the power trowel, make sure to clear away large rocks, sticks, and
other foreign materials off the ground surface to avoid damage to the power
trowel and/or personal injury. Use caution when working around pipes or ducts
protruding from the floor or slab edges.
Do not allow other people to stand beside the power trowel when the tool is being
operated. Always keep hands and feet safely away from the moving parts of the
power trowel.
Always make sure all guards are in place and in proper working condition
prior to starting the power trowel.
