The Acceptance of His Lordship
We're going to be looking at vain
philosophy this evening in verse 8 of
Colossians chapter 2, but I want to back up
and read a passage we read last Sunday
night. I want to read verses 6 and 7 in
Colossians chapter 2, and notice he speaks
of receiving the Lord Jesus Christ. I would
emphasize that word Lord. He says in
verses 6 and 7, “As ye have therefore
received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in
him: Rooted and built up in him, and

stablished in the faith, as ye have been
taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving.”
