(Psalm 1)

God created humanity to find our fulfillment

and happiness in Him. In the Garden of Eden

before sin entered the world, God audibly

communed with Adam and Eve (Gen. 3:8). A

right relationship with God and daily

communion with Him is God’s design for

humanity, and apart from an intimate

relationship with our Creator, people will

continue to search for fulfillment and

happiness “in all the wrong places” as their

sinful nature dictates, and they will

experience one disillusion after another.

Since the completion of the Bible, God

speaks to mankind through His written Word.

Although we can know that God exists

through creation, we cannot know God in a
