9. Once born again by the Spirit of God, can

Christians ever lose their “sonship” relationship

with their Heavenly Father? (See John 3:16,

John 10:27-29, Ephesians 1:12-14)

David was very much aware of God’s

righteous judgment, not only against the

wicked but also in his own life. As Hebrews

10:31 says, “It is a fearful thing to fall into the

hands of the living God.” On the most part,

God has stayed His immediate judgment of

sin, but the Bible says that God will one day

judge all sin. Those who have not put their

trust in Christ as their “judgment-bearer”

will one day bear their own judgment for sin,

which is eternal torment and suffering in

Hell.
