Most pastors or clergymen never preach on

the anger or wrath of God, but the Bible

clearly teaches that “God is angry with the

wicked every day.” People in our day,

including most churchgoers, do not really

know the God of the Bible because they are

not being taught the whole counsel of God

but just those parts of Scripture that

emphasize the grace, love, and mercy of

God and God’s patience with unbelievers.

While God is longsuffering and not willing

that any should perish (Heb. 9:22), He never

condones or indulges sin and false teaching

and neither should we as we relate to the

world around us.

Sadly, many churchgoers and professing

Christians will be among those in Matthew 7

who say, “Lord, Lord, have we not

prophesied in thy name? and in thy name
