upon Jehovah, and superheroes and all these

things are to take our minds away so that our

walk is not straight and circumspect as the Bible

says. I'm simply saying that God has called us

to Kingdom work and not fighting aliens, and

that's what this is all about. The church is not a

theocracy. We are a kingdom of priests and

kings, and we have a mandate by God to see to

it that The Great Commission is carried out and

people are discipled in our society.

Now, I want to speak to you just for a few

moments about fables as we're looking at the

history of superheroes. You’ve heard me say

this before in some other sermons. You'll notice

in 2 Peter chapter 1, reading in verse 16, Peter

says, “For we have not followed cunningly

devised fables, when we made known unto you

the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ,
