             says  we've  not  followed  cunningly  devised



             fables.  I'm going to be reading two verses from



             1  Timothy  chapter  1,  and  I  think  it  was  in


             “Religious  Movies”  that  I  preached  on  a  few



             years ago that we talked about fables.  All of


             these  superheroes  are  fictional  characters.



             We're not talking about real life. We're talking


             about  make-believe,  and  the  Bible  speaks



             against that.  First Timothy chapter 1, verses 4



             and 5, says, “Neither give heed to fables and


             endless genealogies, which minister questions,



             rather than godly edifying which is in faith: so

             do.  Now  the  end  of  the  commandment  is


             charity  out  of  a  pure  heart,  and  of  a  good


             conscience, and of faith unfeigned.”  We're not



             to give heed to fables, that is, fictional stories


             and endless genealogies.  All they do is bring up
