P. 26
About Being a Grandmother
remembered as a genuine disciple of Jesus
Christ who was willing to pay the price of true
discipleship no matter what the cost.
My husband and I are trusting God’s promises
to us that “all things work together for good to
them that love God, to them who are the called
according to his purpose” (Rom. 8:28) and also
God’s promise that He will honor those who
honor Him (1 Samuel 2:30).
The greatest honor that God could bestow upon
me as a mother and a grandmother would be that
“my children” ‒ and my grandchildren ‒ “walk
in truth” (3 John 4) and that God’s honor and
glory would be the priority of their lives and
their supreme purpose for living.
