THE FIREY TRIALS

Not having been raised in a Christian home,

I knew little of God's Word and had some

misconceptions about the Christian life and

church life. I didn't expect so much

opposition to my changed life and my love

for Christ, not only from nonChristians but

also from within professing Christendom.

As a new Christian, I was very trusting of

anyone or any organization that claimed to

be "Christian." I sure had a lot to learn! I

also began to experience much opposition

for holding firm on Biblical principles and

the sound teaching of God's Word.
