Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory

shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with

exceeding joy. If ye be reproached for the

name of Christ, happy are ye; for the spirit

of glory and of God resteth upon you: on

their part he is evil spoken of, but on your

part he is glorified."

In church life, we tend to equate busyness

with spirituality, but I was soon to learn that

some of the busiest and most prominent

people in my church did not show a lot of

evidence of being a "new creature in Christ"

(2 Cor. 5:17) other than their involvement

in church activities. God began to teach me

through His Word that living a life that is
