discerning regarding any erroneous

teaching of God’s Word, and I became very

defensive and protective of the purity of the

Gospel message and the preaching of the

cross, which, according to Romans 1:16

and 1 Corinthians 1:18, “is the power of

God unto salvation to every one that

believeth.”

Again, it was because of my love of God and

my defense of the sound teaching of God’s

Word that I was suffering and experiencing

opposition. At the same time, our children

(especially our daughter) were being

harassed and ridiculed at the “Christian”

school that they were attending. In time, I
