obey Him but allows us to choose to draw
upon the power of the Holy Spirit Who
dwells within us in order to resist evil and
do good. But when Christians do choose to
disobey their Heavenly Father, there will be
painful consequences and God’s chastise-
ment for that disobedience (Hebrews 12:6-
7; Gal. 6:7-8). I’ve also come to understand
since then that not all pastors who stand in
a pulpit have necessarily been born again
themselves by God’s Holy Spirit and
therefore would have no sensitivity towards
sin nor concern for the damage they would
do to the honor of God and to the faith of
God’s children (especially those “babies” in
