relationship with God himself, had remained

faithful to me in spite of all the sexual

temptations he was exposed to on a daily

basis out in the world, and I too was trying

to “fight the good fight” and trying to resist

evil out in the world because of my love of

God and His honor, and I simply could not

rationalize how a man in such an influential

position (spiritually speaking) could be so

unloving, not only toward God but also

toward the children of God.

But I’ve come to understand since then

that, although God has given believers all

that we need in order to live a godly life (2

Pet. 1:3), God does not force believers to
