God and accepted the position of Chairman

of the Deacon Board in our new church.

But he will admit that much of what he did

as far as church involvement at that time

was “in the flesh” and for the praise and

recognition of the people rather than for the

praise of God. But we both became very

active in the church and developed a good

relationship with the pastor and his wife.

ANOTHER MOVE

We had attended our new church less than

three years when my husband was offered a

residence provided by the State of California

that would be closer to the Oak Glen
