continually” (Gen. 6:5) — and David was
looking forward to the day when evil would
be eliminated and God’s justice would
prevail.
In Psalm 13, David was feeling deep sorrow
in his heart daily because his enemies were
prevailing over him. Not only was David
concerned about the physical and emotional
impact that his circumstances were having on
his life, but he was also dreading the boasting
of his enemies if they were to prevail against
him.
