        When you think about the average construction project, it is amazing how many different trades, suppliers,

        reality. Lots of hard work and planning, by thousands of people, are required to complete the construction

        the construction process from design to construction and finally to commissioning and turnover.

 12  Honoring Our Military Heroes  While these efforts are almost always well-intentioned, not every project meets with the same results. Some
        projects are clearly more successful than others, in all regards: safety, budget, schedule, quality, and the overall
        experience of those on the job -- especially the owner. As I think about projects and initiatives that we have
        undertaken, it is very clear to me that our level of success is directly proportioned to how well our teams are
        “aligned" both internally and externally.
