Multiply this scenario a thousand times a day on the average construction site. For every conversation WE
between every trade, every manufacturer, every engineer, every owner representative, even between a project
manager and a general foreman, you can see how things can start to fall apart very quickly.
One of our retiring Officers, John Koester, recently quoted a saying to me, “Go slow to GO FAST.” That
seemed to be perfect for this discussion. Take the time to ensure “alignment” then feel confident about moving
swiftly. Think about how this simple exercise applied at each step along the way would enhance project results
and create a better job site for everyone.
The alignment I find most rewarding is the way we define ourselves and how our actions actually support those ARE
