The A/V Group can significantly

teams need A/V support for one
of their bids or projects. The
Group can estimate any project
for electrical or low-voltage
estimators at no upfront charge
to their division and provide peer
review and bid validation of local
A/V company’s estimates. This
service adds a layer of protection
for Rosendin’s estimators when
bidding work. After a project
is won, the Group can provide
engineering, peer review, and
a complete turn-key solution.

ESTIMATING
The A/V Estimating Team performs basic bid reviews, plan and spec estimates, and complete design-build bids. All
quotes are done in Accubid with a full material list, labor hours by item, estimated engineering and programming costs,
and are identified through standard Rosendin task codes. The Estimating Team can produce full proposals with project
profiles, references, and internal team resumes as a complete package or incorporate them into an overall proposal.
A/V ENGINEERING
Engineering is one of the most misunderstood, complex, and time-consuming parts of technology
systems. The A/V Engineering team helps to make this process simple, predictable, and painless by
providing standard engineering packages that include complete material BOM, project specifications,
device plans, cabling diagrams, schematics, and connection and mounting details.
PROCUREMENT
Procurement of any A/V and related products has many challenges. There is a good chance the A/V Group can find
the best price and availability because they have established direct dealerships with many major manufacturers
and access through all major distributors. A significant asset of the Group is they are familiar with all the “Gotchas!”
which can include the required accessories to make it work, correct back boxes, mounting brackets, color options,
cables, converters, and more. Much like complex lighting fixtures, there are a million little parts with millions of
little options. Having the right team to ensure the correct parts are ordered is critical to a successful project.
PREFABRICATION
The Prefabrication team in Rosendin’s Anaheim office can handle the build-out of equipment
racks and assemblies for any A/V project, kit rooms, repacking of materials, and pre-installation
validation and testing. The team can manage the logistics of it all, so you don’t have to.
INSTALLATION & FIELD TRAINING
An entire A/V install team can complete final installs depending on the project requirements. This
team can fill in for foreman or general technical oversite. Most importantly, the A/V Field Training
Program will be implemented in 2022 and will allow for interested field staff to receive training on all
required techniques, tools, and things to look out for on an A/V project. The difference between a good
installation job and a not-so-good installation job can be in the upfront training one receives.
PROGRAMMING & COMMISSIONING
Did you know that Rosendin has on-staff programmers for almost all major Audio/Visual brands?
These include Crestron, Extron, AMX, QSC, Biamp, BSS, Shure, Utelogy, and more. There is a
good chance that the brand requested, Rosendin programs and commissions.
There are multiple benefits for Rosendin’s internal and external customers to work with the A/V Group on programming
and commissioning. The Group provides the advantage of working with a one-stop-shop of experienced and seasoned
A/V professionals. They carry all of the required certifications to perform A/V work anywhere in the United States, and
they consistently work with the same team, building commonality, consistency, and positive relationships. Rosendin’s
A/V professionals work with fellow teams who understand the culture, company processes, and the industry. 
Programming and Commissioning are the most critical part of the
project. It is the piece that the end-users see and which Rosendin can
control without relying on an outside company. Overall it’s better for
clients and better for Rosendin and the ESOP.
