Ringkasan
The Confederation of Indonesian Trade Unions (KSPI) President Said Iqbal in today’s joint rally
said workers planned to go on national strike if the government does not meet their demands.
Two million workers attended the rally from 60 national trade union federations working in 100
factories. One of the demands voiced by the workers is the revision of the Jakarta Gubernatorial
Decree on the provincial minimum wage or UMP 2021, which is related to the Constitutional
Court’s ruling that the Job Creation Law or Law No. 11/2020 is conditionally unconstitutional.
