“Two million workers can stop the production. Everyone will lose, the economy will be paralyzed,”
              said  Said  on  Wednesday,  December  8.  “We  will  not  do  that  if  the  government  seriously
              implements the Constitutional Court’s order.”

              He said the rally, which was planned to be held on December 6-10, would likely expand if the
              government is reluctant to apply the court's decision.

              The workers also urged Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan to pay his pledge to raise the provincial
              minimum wage. Based on Government Regulation No. 36/2021, Jakarta's UMP in 2022 will only
              be increased by Rp37,749 or 0.85 percent to Rp4,453,935 per month.
