              the cost for workers' recruitment and placement, Fauziyah said.

              workers in Malaysia, she added.

              On the issue of domestic workers, the minister said that both governments have agreed that
              domestic workers will only be employed for households with a maximum of six family members.

              The salary and competency for babysitters and caregivers will be decided further, she said.

              Human Resources Minister Datuk Seri Saravanan Murugan said Indonesian workers have played
              an important role in the development of Malaysia. The number of Indonesian migrant workers
              in the country has reached 364,564 as of October 2021, he noted.

              Malaysia will continue to cooperate with the Indonesian government to ensure the protection of
              its workers in the country, he added.
