        HD HELMETS

Did I mention that I was in Tasmania? I called into Richardson’s
Harley Davidson at Launceston and this would be one of the best
Harley shops I’ve ever been to. They have all the usual bikes
and gear etc. Plus there is a bar, bistro and cafe within the same
        complex.

Anyway, I found a very interesting range of HD helmets which
start at just under $400. You can have a the choice of a full face
or open face helmet in a matter of seconds. This would negate
the need/desire to carry a spare open face ‘hat’ on a trip. The
chin strap secures with a ratchet style clip and it has all the usual
vents and visor accessories. Check em out at you local Harley
        dealer.

         CRUIZIN 50’S DINER

We don’t normally do reports on cafes due to the immeasurable
numbers of them around the country. Occasionally though we do
find something that is way outside the ordinary and sharing the
information about it, benefits the membership.
You may be aware that my better half and I have been travelling
         around Tasmania?
Well, the last day of our November holiday there, we happened
to pass through Deloraine and came across the “Cruizin In The
50s Diner”. The photos attached to this article do not do the
place justice, it’s truly a place that must be seen to be believed.
The owners have been collecting memorabilia for over 30 years
and what they’ve created takes a huge amount of time to take in.
Oh, and our breakfast was splendid, pancakes and coffee set us
         up for the whole day.
If you’re in Tassie, get along to 2 Railway Street Deloraine and be
         amazed!
