NLH Australia Day 2022
Michael and I arrived early to claim our position on the Pitt Street Reserve at Stockton. It was a
beautiful day. After a short time, there was a “gathering” of Gazebos and about thirty of our
members. Several members dropped by for a couple of hours and were able to catch up and enjoy
the cricket while the majority were there for the long haul. In years gone by we have used the
gazebos for shade, but this year everyone sat under the beautiful tree with all the colourful
“Harlequin Beetles”.
Ken dusted off the cricket set and the serious part of the day began. Not sure if the Aussie selectors
were about but there were a couple of standout bowlers and batters.
