Savic Motorcycles founder Dennis Savic, an ex-Ford engineer has developed
Australia’s first electric motorbike, which has begun production in Melbourne

The recent completion of Savic Motorcycles’ $1.8 million capital raise has
enabled the company to project an ambitious product roadmap beyond the
release of the first C-Series motorcycles later this year. The broad suite of future light electric
vehicles and urban motorcycles has also meant trimming the C-Series portfolio to remove the entry-
level Omega model.

“With the exciting new e-mobility products we have coming to the Australian market in the near
future, we felt there were not sufficient market distinctions between the Omega and a new series of
LAMS Approved e-motorcycles we currently have in development,” explains CEO Dennis Savic.

“However, our C-Series customers are the foundation of our company and we are committed to
honouring and building those Omegas already on order. These customers stuck by us when COVID
delayed our initial production timeline and we wouldn’t be here today without their loyal support.”

Savic Motorcycles has also announced a small price increase on their remaining C-Series models,
the Alpha and Delta. The Alpha will retail at $26,990* Ride Away while the Delta will retail at
$19,990* Ride Away.
“In a year of hard decisions within a challenging landscape for small businesses and start-up
companies, we’ve seen significant increases in costs on raw materials and global logistics,” says
Dennis. “As a start-up we’ve tried to absorb these costs as much as we can, but if we want to
continue the legacy we’ve started as Australia’s high-performance e-motorcycle manufacturer and
show the world what Aussies can do in the e-mobility space, we need to make viable decisions for
the future of our business.”
